Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and proactive HR Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an independent problem-solver, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions. With a strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate needs, this individual will support HR initiatives, maintain employee records, and assist with recruitment, compliance, and benefits administration. A proactive mindset and a passion for supporting a positive workplace culture are essential.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide support across all phases of the full-cycle recruitment process, including application processing, candidate interviewing and selection, pre-employment screenings, conducting new hire orientation, entering employee data into the HRIS, and managing the collection and verification.
- Ensure proper storage, security, and confidentiality of employee personal data in compliance with current regulations. Stay up to date on all laws related to employee records. Verify completion and accuracy of all company documentation.
- Support benefits administration—including medical, dental, life, short- and long-term disability, and leaves of absence—by managing new hire enrollments, processing employee changes, advising employees on eligibility.
- Stays informed of compliance and legislative changes to assist in implementing required adjustments to HR policies and internal processes.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing company events, including employee celebrations, team-building activities, and corporate functions.
- Being a Trusted Advocate for HDCUS coworkers.
- All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR support role, with a solid understanding of HR processes, policies, and best practices.
- HR Certification (such as PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred but not required
- Experience with employee recruitment, onboarding, and orientation.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll systems.
- Knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA).
- Hands-on experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and payroll systems.
- Fluent in Vietnamese strongly preferred.
Working Conditions
- Working conditions are normal for an office / light manufacturing environment.
- Work is fully onsite at our Farmers Branch office.
