Gudbrandur R. Sigurdsson brings deep expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and data center strategy. As Managing Director of IDS Iceland, he leads operations and business development, focusing on high-availability services for enterprise clients.

Before co-founding IDS Iceland, Gudbrandur co-founded Endor in Iceland, where he served as CEO and guided the company to become a leading provider of managed hosting and IT outsourcing, culminating in its acquisition by Syn (Vodafone partner, Iceland). With over 20 years in the IT industry, he has also held leadership roles at Opin kerfi (HP partner, Iceland), specializing in key account management, critical infrastructure, and enterprise service delivery.

With over 20 years of experience in IT sales, managed hosting, cloud services, and data center solutions, David Thor Kristjansson is a seasoned leader in strategy planning and business growth. At IDS Iceland, he is responsible for key account management and reseller partnerships.

Before co-founding IDS Iceland, David co-founded Endor in Iceland and played a central role in its expansion. He has also held senior leadership positions at Opin kerfi (HP partner, Iceland) and Advania, managing enterprise software, hosting, and infrastructure solutions. David holds a BSc in Business Administration from Reykjavik University and several industry certifications.

Steindor Arnar Jonsson is a seasoned IT architect and technical strategist with twenty years of experience in designing and operating enterprise infrastructure, managed services, and mission-critical environments. As Technical Director at IDS Iceland, he leads the company’s technical vision and oversees architecture, implementation, and performance across all infrastructure and service platforms.

Steindor has expertise in project management, strategic planning, and data center operations. Before joining IDS, he served as IT director at deCODE genetics, Íslensk erfdagreining, after having various management roles at Advania Iceland. His work has included designing, implementing, and running high-availability computing environments, large-scale storage systems, and virtualization platforms supporting critical scientific and enterprise workloads. He holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Reykjavik University.

Edison Banushi is a results-oriented sales professional with a strong competitive drive and a talent for asking the right questions to uncover client needs and deliver tailored solutions. As Sales Specialist at IDS Iceland, he supports the company’s business development efforts, focusing on customer engagement, lead generation, and account management.

Prior to joining IDS Iceland, Edison held the role of Sales Manager at SalesCloud. This software company later merged with Noona and was subsequently acquired by the telecommunications provider Síminn. Through this experience, he gained deep insight into the SaaS and IT services landscape and developed a solid foundation in delivering high-value solutions in fast-paced, technology-driven environments.

Magnús Franklin is a technically adept sales professional with over ten years of experience bridging the gap between IT infrastructure and customer needs. At IDS Iceland, he leverages his deep technical background to support clients in finding tailored infrastructure and data protection solutions, with a focus on Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) and high-availability environments.

Before joining IDS Iceland, Magnús built his career in hands-on technical roles, including helpdesk support, networking, and system administration across Microsoft and Linux platforms. For the past five years, he has specialized in HCI technologies such as Nutanix and Cohesity, earning recognition as a trusted local expert in designing, implementing, and managing mission-critical systems. His ability to translate complex technology into business value makes him a key asset in the sales team.
