IDS is accredited to install and maintain an extensive portfolio of high-performance fibre and copper cables for your structured cabling needs. IDS supplies and installs products from all of the cabling industry's market leaders.

Design & consultancy

Our CAD designers can help design and consult on customers' empty white space into a complete site with rack locations, overhead/underfloor containment, HAC's, CAC's, and with connectivity pathways.

We can generate side elevations for customers to show fill rates for baskets and advise our customers on future-proofing their pathways.

Smart hands

Our Smart Hands service provides onsite management, patching, testing, custom installations, and equipment troubleshooting assistance 24/7, 365 days a year. This is a first-class white glove service, giving you peace of mind that your network infrastructure is in safe hands.

Technical moves

IDS provides specialist technology fit-out and relocation services, enhanced by complete de-racking and re-racking solutions. Our skilled technical engineers can work across a multitude of hardware platforms, including server, storage, and network equipment.

Combining these activities makes a relocation extremely efficient, as IDS can then pack and relocate equipment seamlessly anywhere globally (not Antarctica, currently).

Security and access control

IDS carries out all forms of security, CCTV, and access control upgrade works, including installing new systems. This can include replacing existing cabling, camera devices, and access control equipment.

Moves, adds & changes

Our IT team regularly performs moves, adds, and changes (MAC) to ensure equipment is up-to-date and continues to work as effectively as possible. We can perform any size MAC from upgrading network switches, patching to decommissioning and recommissioning of networking hardware.
